Bistek

INGREDIENTS:
4 tbsp vegetable oil
1 pc large onion, cut into rings
½ kg sirloin, thinly sliced
1 sachet 8g MAGGI MAGIC SARAP®
¼ tsp freshly ground black pepper
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp brown sugar
6 pcs calamansi, juiced
Servings: 4-6
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Sauté onion in 2 tbsp. of vegetable oil until light golden brown. Set aside.
2. Season sirloin with MAGGI MAGIC SARAP® and pepper. Sear sirloin until golden brown and set aside.
3. Add oil and sauté garlic in the same pan. Add seared beef, soy sauce, and sugar. Barely cover with water and simmer until tender. Once tender, let the sauce reduce.
4. Add calamansi juice and add sautéed onion. Serve.
