Chicken, Lentil and Veggie Soup

INGREDIENTS:
250g chicken thigh fillet, cut into bite-size pieces
1-8g sachet MAGGI MAGIC SARAP
1 ½ tsp ground cumin
2 tsp vegetable oil
1 pc medium onion, minced
2 cloves garlic, minced
5 cups water
1 cup red lentils, soaked in water overnight, rinsed and drained
1-22g sachet MAGGI MAGIC SINIGANG Original
1 pc medium carrot, small diced
2 pcs medium potatoes, small diced
Servings: 4-6
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Season chicken with half sachet of MAGGI MAGIC SARAP and cumin.
2. Preheat a pan and add oil. Sear chicken and set aside.
3. In the same pan, sauté onions and garlic for 2 minutes. Add water and bring to simmer.
4. Add MAGGI MAGIC SARAP SINIGANG Original.
5. Add lentils and bring to simmer. Cook until lentils are tender.
6. Add carrot, potato and seared chicken. Simmer for 10 minutes.
7. Season with remaining half sachet of MAGGI MAGIC SARAP.
8. Transfer into serving bowls and serve hot.
